How to create separate accounts for each child
If you are subscribing to Tween Xstream and you may have more than 1 child that will use the Tween Xstream platform, you do have the option to create an account for each child, meaning that they will have their very own username and password. Or you can stick with one main account that all your kids can use, meaning one username and password that everyone can use.
We do recommend that you create an account for each child, since they may change the password by accident and therefor prevent the rest of the siblings to login and enjoy Tween Xstream. If you only have 1 child, then we suggest you don’t create a separate account and let them use the login details for the account registered.
How to create accounts for each child
It is important to note that you can only setup these separate accounts upon checkout when you signup for your subscription. You will not be able to add or edit accounts once your checkout process is complete.
When signing up, you will be asked if you would like to create separate accounts for each child.
Here is what we suggest:
- If you want all your kids to use 1 account, then leave the block empty. No separate account will be created.
- If you only have 1 child that will use the platform, then leave the block empty. No separate account will be created.
- If you have more than 1 child and want to create an account for each of them, enter the amount of children you want to create an account for. For example, if you have 2 children, enter 2 in the block to create 2 separate accounts.
Once you have entered the amount of children you want to create accounts for, complete the checkout process as normal. A main account, or parent account, will be created on completion and you will be redirected to a confirmation page. You will then be asked to confirm your email address to complete the registration process.
Please note that this will be the main account that will be billed and where you will find your billing information and history. We recommend that you keep these login details in a safe place.
Your confirmation page will look something like the example above. You will also receive the same information in your confirmation email.
You will note 2 things as shown above.
- Sponsored members code
- Child Accounts link
To create an account for each child, simply click on the Child Accounts link. Make sure the Sponsored Members Code is entered. Complete the checkout process and repeat if you need to create more accounts.
DISCLAIMER: Each new account created must be registered with a different email address. These email addresses can’t be the same as the main/parent account email address. The platform doesn’t accept different users using the same email address. These email addresses will only be used to confirm the accounts. No emails will be sent to these email addresses in the future, only to the email address registered under the main/parent account.
Usernames and password will be sent to you along with your confirmation email. Once you have confirmed your email address, each child can login to their own account and change their username and passwords to make it easier for them to remember. They can now customise their accounts to their liking, such as adding a profile picture or creating their own playlists.
As noted earlier, it is important for you as a parent to keep the username and password for the main/parent account. All billing information and invoices will be found there. If you would like to cancel your account, you can cancel it inside the main/parent account. This will then also cancel the child accounts as well.
