Who we are
Tween Xstream is a division of the TweenOvate ministry based in South Africa. The purpose of TweenOvate is to provide parents with parenting resources (for more on this, feel free to visit www.tweenovate.com), and to provide their kids with Christian entertainment such as music, movies and TV shows. And this is how Tween xstream was born.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
Comments have been enabled on the Tween Xstream platform, but goes through an approval process before being added. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. If Gravatar is not used, your profile pic that was uploaded inside your members Area will be displayed.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Your contact information
The only contact information we request is the first name, last name and email address of the parent or gaurdian upon signup.
Additional information
The only additional information that can be provided is a profile pick of the user. Profile pictures are being stored on the Tween Xstream server and not on any third party servers or websites.
How we protect your data
We have currently two systems in place to protect all user data on the Tween Xstream website. The first is from our hosting company, and the second directly on the Tween Xstream website. We also believe to further protect our users is to request as little information as possible. The less data we obtain, the less of a rist there is on our users in the case of a digital attack.
What third parties we receive data from
We receive data from the following third party.
- Vimeo. We host all our videos and content on vimeo.com. We receive data and your normal analytics from Vimeo such as views, watch times and impressions. We do not receive any personal information from Vimeo of our users.
- ConvertKit / MailChimp. We receive a list of all users that have signed up for the Tween Xstream mailing list. Information we receive from these parties are the information the user provided upon signup, such as Name, Surname and Email address. We also receive data from these parties such as open rates and click rates.
